God
did not make our heads to a standard size. Many helmet manufacturers
make one standard size helmet and then for fitted different thickness
paddings to cater for different sizes. This will mean that the smaller
helmets will have thicker paddings inside. Over time these paddings get
squashed and the helmet suddenly becomes a size XL instead of an S as
when new.
That was then, NOW there is no worry as a responsible
manufacturer has come out with helmets of really different sizes. GIVI’s
Roma Helmets were launched recently.
GIVI Asia Sdn Bhd, has launched a new range of helmets that will be a perfect fit for everyone. As our heads are not all of the same size, GIVI ‘one size does not fit all’ launched the Roma range of helmets.
The helmets are available in four sizes - S, M, L and XL - to ensure that every motorcycle rider or pillion is protected properly. An ill fitting helmet may not provide adequate protection to your head. When buying a helmet make sure it fits snuggly. If it can move around it means it is too loose you feel discomfort then it may be too small. Test the helmet for fitting before buying one. To emphasize their seriousness in motorcycling safety GIVI’s Joseph Perucca came all the way from Italy to launch the Roma.
The Roma helmet is produced at their plant in Bukit Beruntung where they also produce GIVI’s top selling product the luggage box.
Dr.Moto takes this opportunity to thank GIVI for being a caring company in terms of motorcycling safety. We know the people at GIVI rides motorcycles too.
